Hello! My name is Venuja. I'm pursuing a B.Sc. (Hons) in Information Technology at SLIIT, specializing in Data Science. I enjoy building things that live on the web and training predictive models that turn raw data into something useful. I bridge complex machine learning architectures with user-centric design.

Deep learning models trained on 100K+ medical X-ray images to detect pulmonary abnormalities including pneumonia, cardiomegaly, and pleural effusion. Implements ResNet-50 and DenseNet-121 architectures.
Built with PyTorch and optimized for GPU training using mixed-precision (FP16) and gradient checkpointing, reducing training time by 40% and memory usage by 55%. Achieved 94.7% validation accuracy on the NIH Chest X-ray Dataset.
Aura Space — Modern Real Estate Platform
A premium, modern real estate marketplace platform built with React, Vite, Tailwind CSS, and a Supabase (PostgreSQL) backend.
Features dynamic property browsing with multi-parameter filtering, interactive property listings, user sessions, role-based controls, row-level security (RLS) policies, and database persistence.
Bright Future — Secure Student Awards Voting Platform
A full-stack student awards voting platform with events, nominees, dashboards, notifications, and results reports.
Built with Spring Boot backend API and React/Vite UI frontend. Implements role-based dashboard access, automated notification triggers, student registration, and secure award voting mechanism.
Poth Library App
A mobile reading & book marketplace platform for Sri Lanka, enabling readers to explore curated books and shop owners to manage listings and grow their library business.
Built with React Native and Expo (SDK 54) using Expo Router on the frontend. The backend is powered by Node.js, Express, and MongoDB with Mongoose. Features secure JWT authentication, encrypted passwords, and Cloudinary media storage.
